Daniel W. McKay was born in Anchorage, Alaska, and spent his early years in southern Idaho. He received his undergraduate degrees in History and Political Science from Boise State University, where he graduated with Distinguished Honors. Dan attended the J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU, where he graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 2000. He was admitted to the Utah State and Federal Bar in 2000, to the Idaho State and Federal Bar in 2001, and most recently to the Nevada State and Federal Bar in 2005. He is also a member of the Utah Trial Lawyers' Association. Dan practices in the areas of civil litigation, with emphasis in real estate, securities and commercial contracts.
Dan has been married to his wife Kristine for fifteen (15) years, and is a father of three children, two boys and a bundle of estrogen in between. Dan enjoys competitive sports in general and playing golf, softball, basketball, and racquetball. He loves the challenges of practicing law and hates to lose.
